Who We Are
We Spirit Projects: Empowering Realities (W.S.P.E.R.) is a movement bridge-building collective rooted in the brilliance and resilience of BIPOC, queer, trans, disabled, neurodivergent, and low-income communities. We bring together organizers, youth, cultural workers, healers, and community members to share skills, preserve knowledge, and build stronger foundations for sustainable justice work centered in care and joy.

Our Mission
W.S.P.E.R.’s mission is to create spaces where collective care and joy are central to justice work. Through workshops, gatherings, and cross-movement collaborations, we build containers for healing, skill-sharing, and strategy. We honor lived experience, nurture leadership across generations, and bridge movements so communities can thrive together.
Our Vision
We envision a future where movements are interconnected and grounded in care. Communities hold space for grief, pleasure, creativity, and strategy together. Youth and elders share power, cultural workers and healers are recognized as essential, and our histories are carried forward instead of being lost to burnout or turnover. In this future, collective care and joy are the foundation that makes long-term justice and liberation possible.

Our Values
We come together from many places, struggles, and movements, together we seek a world where our people and our planet live with dignity, joy, and freedom.
-
Our Bodies Are Sacred: We claim the right to live, love, work, heal, rest, and play without fear, shame, or control.
-
Identity Is Belonging: We see and celebrate people in their wholeness. Race, gender, sexuality, culture, and body are not barriers to justice, but the roots of our liberation.
-
Our Liberation, Our Power: We decide our futures. Communities know what they need — not systems built to cage, police, or exploit us.
-
Justice Means Repair: We fight for resources and opportunities to be shared fairly, and for past harms to be named and healed.
-
Workers Keep the World Turning: Whether working on the block, a farm, or at an office, all labor deserves respect, protection, and fair pay.
-
Our Struggles Are Intertwined: Racism, sexism, ableism, fatphobia, classism, homophobia, transphobia, xenophobia — we fight them all, together.
-
We Take Care of Us: Mutual aid, harm reduction, and community care are how we survive and thrive.
-
Accountability Is Love in Action: We tell the truth, we own our mistakes, and we answer to the people most impacted by our choices.
-
Nothing About Us Without Us: Our spaces must welcome all bodies, all minds, all languages, all ways of being. Accessibility is justice.
-
The Earth Is Our First Home: We honor the land, air, and water as living relatives, not resources to be exploited.
-
Land Stewardship: Indigenous sovereignty, land reclamation, and care for the earth guide us toward balance and survival for all generations.
-
Sustainability: We build movements that nourish, honor the earth, and feed us.
-
Pleasure & Joy Are Political: We dance, we laugh, we make art, we love. Joy and pleasure are not luxuries; they are acts of resistance.
-
Love & Interconnection: We fight because we love our people. Our survival is bound up together.
